Nikolas #11650 Eco Borne Clear Lacquer is a clear,
air dry, acrylic waterbase coating. Engineered for the Architectural
Metal Maintenance Industry, this lacquer provides properties not
found in other waterbase lacquers. #11650 is non-flammable and low
odor. This makes it a perfect choice in areas where local fire codes
prevent the use of flammables, or public areas where complaints
about smell can frustrate the progress of work. Because #11650 is
a low viscosity, high solids product, it will apply in one coat,
the same film thickness as four to five coats of conventional lacquer.
This will produce considerable savings in product and labor costs.
Nikolas #11650 dries to a deep-gloss film which is highly resistant
to abrasion. It has been shown to outlast conventional coatings
in areas of high traffic and has reduced the amount of refinishing
needed. Even though #11650 is extremely tough, it can be easily
removed with conventional solvent cleaners, or the non-flammable
#11645 Clean Cut Brass Prep.
